or it was until now.I'm a woman but often think I'd quite like to be a gay man of the good-looking John Barrowman-type. I like men and their bits and am quite happily married,it's just being a female with all the annoying medical,hormone-related irritating things that go with being a woman that I get fed up with. I mean no offense to anyone by asking this but just think it must be quite nice to have none of the female complications and get to be with men too! Am I completely alone and strange in this??

This is really interesting.

I have always wanted to be a really good looking woman, so i can experience the constant admiration and bumbling advances of men.

A friend, whom I consider to be one of the most physically attractive women I have ever seen actually got hit on by a guy who rammed his car into hers! He started on about it being 'fate' - I mean, that must be wonderful - or perhaps the novelty wears off?

I can appreciate that there are physcal downsides to womanhood, not least of which are menstruation and waxing, but i would still love to see what it's like.

I thinky our notion of being a gorgeous gay man works on the same principle - attract what you want and see what it's like.

mydogsandme - no you are not completely alone. i too hate being a woman. I am not gay and love my man very much. i loved being pregnant and love being a mum. But i think somehow i resent being a woman as some parts of it (especially once a month) are just horrible!! I hate wearing skirts and dresses and makeup and having my hair done. So, in short, if i cant have john barrowman i want to be him.
