Yes, the above answers are correct and I have to add that if you google it all the more then you will find several delectable videos to add to your enjoyment of the words.
One has the English translation with subtitles (it is talking about the love of the linden tree - we don't get that in the UK do we? - it's all so much more basic) .
I think the Numa song is actually called something like Dragostea Din Tea. After the guys split up they all had quite creative careers and you can research their individual solo projects. Try to shelter your daughter from the abuse they had as a boy-band as the internet did not do them any favours. I think they were a great band.
