Hello, I've burnt an album onto a CDRW, but I cannot play it on any other player apart from on my pc.....this is really annoying.  What am I doing wrong, can anyone tell me how I can burn onto a CDRW so that I can play it on a bog standard cd player?

three possibilities I can think of

have you burnt it as an audio cd rather than a data cd - most burning software can convert mp3's to an audio cd. Just ensure you select audio cd when you start the project.

have you closed the session - this finishes the cd so no further writting is possible

most non computer based cd players do not support cdrw audio discs - try a regular cdr and see if you still have a problem.

i have found that only certain recent models of cd player read CD-RWs (in a nutshell, due to the use of  dielectric layer and phase change compound, not all lasers can read them) They were not part of the original CD standard spec. Philips players generally do, and so do most dvd players.
I was initially told that most players don't recognise CD-RW's. I made that mistake when i bought my PC!
The best thing to do is burn it onto a CD-R instead and they will work on most cd players!
