Any good waxing products please

I have been using imac cream on my legs and i find the hair grows back too quick for my liking, is there any good waxing product that are easy to use, not too painful and can cover a large area im 6ft long legged so I need lots of product.

Hello Hairy person,

If I were you I would go and get a professional wax if its your first time. They will do it quickly with the least amount of mess. Otherwise try Veet wax strips that you warm up in your hands before applying.

Sugaring from The Body Shop is well worth looking at and I see they now do it in a roll-on version. Also, as it's made from a sugar solution any left on your legs can easily washed off unlike wax!

I did have a professional one years ago for a holiday, but never since it was a one off, I dont like going to places to be pampered, poked and trimmed, so i thought a home one might work.

Have you considered buying an epilator? I'm a recent convert and I'd never go back to anything else. :)

I like the NADS and Cyclax cold wax, which is a bit like sugar paste. I have had my last tub for about 6 months and I do my legs monthly and it is still half full. I do not have long legs but they are very chunky and very hairy. One tip, spread it very very thinly for best results

It's about the same, I think, tigger, but far easy and less messy. I found it really painful under my arms on the first go, but it lessens every time I do it. I have the new Braun Silk Epil (the one advertised on telly) and it has a light on it that shows up all the tiny hairs that you would normally miss, too.

what does it do exactly this silk epil??? pull the whole hair and root in one? do the hairs grow back thicker?? or the same??

I tried the NADS roll-on eyebrow wax and it was useless but then we are all different and some things that work well on some people don't work well on other I guess.

It's got 40 mini tweezers that whizz around, what, and pulls them out at the root, but it does so many so quickly that you barely feel it (especially not on your (my) legs). I haven't tried it on my bikini line yet, though. :)

It lasts as long as waxing and the hairs that have grown back since are finer than they've ever been!

Has anyone tried the electric current thinks you can have done in clinics and u can buy ones in argos it sends a small current through the hair which kills it and stops it growing back again 'completey' if you treat that hair for a short period or something????

I've tried the home kits and I've tried the laser treatment at Boots. The laser treatment was both costly and quite painful so I stopped. The home laser kits are useless and you have to keep doing it for months and months to see any results.

I wouldn't recommend it What, unless you have money and can take the pain. I think its worse than waxing and I've had several bikini waxes in my lifetime! Lol
