Hair traps for showers

I have a hair trap over the plughole in my shower, but it is not working very well.
Could anybody personally recommend one which works, or give me a tip for preventing excess hair getting through? Many thanks.

Cut a piece of `open ` sponge to the size of the plug hole and that will stop any hair going down the hole.

get the family into the habit of brushing their hair before they shower!

I bought 2 for 50p each on a local market, 1 white, 1 stainless steel. They should be easy to find in ironmongers, or even supermarkets x
