I didn't know where to put this, sorry if it's in the wrong place.

i moved into a flat ran by a student accomodation agency with my 2 friends in august and since then we've had so many problems.  The electricity isn't sound, the heating doesn't work, there's damp in the kitchen which spead to a bedroom, the owrkmen (when they show up) are from teh company and seem to think it's ok just to walk inot the flat without knocking at strange times.  There are other problems, but these are the main ones.

We each pay 253 a month and the electricity bills are included in this, however, we also paid 220 *each* to secure the flat and for the paper work to be processed.  this is non returnable.  In light of all the probels we've had, do you think it would be reasonable to go to the Citizen's Advice place and make a complaint.  We've tried talking to the company but get little response and when things are 'fixed' it only lasts about a week.

unfortunatly we pay by direct debit, no other way to do it.

We were hoping there'd be a way of getting the 200 back each, but i think we're going to give them another 2 weeks before we stride down to the offices and speak to them face to face.
