The mysery of uterus

I konw many internal organs are attached to the wall of the body and they are in place that way. What about the uterus? I heard that the uterus stands alone. Is that because if a woman is very weak or old, the uterus sometimes comes out of the body. If it is ture, how does it stand alone in a healthy woman's body? Thanks.

Not exactly true. It is suspended in place by thick ligaments, notably the round ligaments, and supported from below by pelvic floor muscles. If the pelvic floor muscles are weak, that can cause it to come out (prolapse).
