Stallone insisted on performing the end of the stunt in which Rambo lands on a tree branch after falling off a cliff, and the scream and wince of pain as he lands are genuine - Stallone broke three ribs on the crash. Tony Morrelli, a Canadian from Vancouver was the double for the deputy sherrif that fell from the helicopter...

A guy called Diamond Farnsworth does a lot of Stallone's stunts. He also doubles for Scott Bakula.
