crazy premenstrual symptoms

5 days before my period begins i get strange sensations all inside my head, I have to lie down for periods of time and am unable to open my eyes while this is happening, i am awake during these periods and can hear whats going on around me but i cant answer anyone if they speak to me, for the 4 or 5 days leading to my period i am then completely drained, ratty and feel down, i can cope with this but dont understand the head stuff, this has been going on for 2 years and i am at a loss,

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.alimac, please go and see your doctor. what you are describing is not 'normal' pms stuff, although it may be related to hormonal fluctuations. the drained, ratty, loss of confidence things are, but not the other things you describe. i think you've put up with it for far too long and need to get it sorted, there could be a very simple solution.

i have discussed this with them before but they had no explanation.
I have had ct & mri scans for other reasons and these all show up clear, so i really feel this must be hormonal, bu who knows,
it is really distressing and has been happening since the birth of my last son who is nearly three
if i get any luck with gp i will let you all know,
any other advice would be useful
