What is the cheapest/best way of seeing the Pyramids from Sharm el Sheike

Can anyone suggest ways of travelling to Cairo and to see the Pyramids if you'tre staying in Sharm El Sheike - we have a 7 yr old so don't want to spend hrs on a coach etc. Also, can you pre book a very early morning trip or evening time when it's cooler. Many thanks!

when you get there,there will be a lot of places that sell trips to the pyramids,in various ways,ie coach or plane,but i would think the coach trip would be cheapest.

To be honest, the best way to do this is to stay either in Cairo or Giza. If you stay in Giza itself it is literally a walk or a short taxi ride to the pyramids. The early morning is best as the heat builds up during the day and its still hot in the evening - they lose the light earlier too so you wouldn't have as long in the evening before dark.
I believe you can get an internal flight Sharm-Cairo but no idea of times or costs, and its at least an hour from Cairo airport to the pyramids.

sure I saw the trip advertised as an extra on the First Choice site.
they either fly you, or it's a coach ride (6 hrs I think).
costs around �100 if you fly I think.

You,re best to fly as the coach would be too tiring for your son cant remember how much it cost but its something you,ve got to see its only about an hour on the plane and the tour lasts all day. Well worth it great experience
