No , Binder, don't remove the flowers. Everyday, just give the stems a gentle tap, which helps the flowers to pollinate themselves. When the flowers are ready, they will drop off themselves, to be replaced by the fruits.

The flowers are needed for fruit production so if you remove these you wont get any tomatos.

You should remover the side shoots which grow out from the main stem as these will be bushy and not produce many flowers so take enery away from the main plant. It is also recommended to take the top out at 7 trusses for greenhouse grown and 4 trusses for outdoor grown. This will prevent the plant from getting any taller and it will produce better fruit.
