One of those mind numbing "Polls" you have on this site is asking whether we agree with "Sir" Paul Mc......... in his assertion that if we were all veggies it would help reduce global warming!!
Well i clearly remember him being a Veggie when he was wed to Linda (who, by the way, invented Vegitarianism) But what about when he was wed to that one leeged Geordie!!!!!!!

The human intestine is designed more for a veggie diet - God I'm going to get slaughtered for this, but it's true! Animals that eat a large amount of meat have a very short gut which digests the proteins quickly. Humans have a long gut cos it takes longer to digest vegetable matter. People should only eat a portion of protein the size of the palm of their hand per day. We eat far too much meat in this country and I'm afraid it's why we have so much colon cancer. Did you know that the average 40 year old American has 4lb of undigested meat in their gut? Sorry if anyone's squeamish!
