I hope you are only paying what you need to and not paying for it all. Plus I would demand to see what I am paying for
Sorry but i don't agree. I think if you are living in the house then you have to contribute towards living there. If you were not living at hers then you would either have your own mortgage or be paying rent. So this is no difference. You cant live there fore free. Also if she has put a lot of savings on the house then of course it will be in her name...if you got married then im sure she would change it but why would she risk signing over half her house to you when you have JUST moved in.
You maybe paying out all your wages but you didnt say what proportion of the bills you are paying...you could only be earning 20 quid a week...in which case thats not much to give her.

I think this is unfair. I know two people in similar situations. One guy refuses to contribute to his girlfriends mortgage as it is in her name only, he pays around 150 pm and buys furniture etc. If they split, I guess he would take the furniture and leave her nothing as she has got shut of the original things. Have you put any of the deposit down?
She doesn't want you on any bills, as she doesn't want you to have any claim to the property.
She is not treating you like her partner, but a rent paying tenant, so if I were you, I would agree to pay her a sum of money, which would go towards your rent and upkeep. Better still, I would do a runner and get away from this controlling woman, before she has the shirt off your back too.

Sam thanks for that i pay all my wages out do the maths i take home 1400 a month out of that i pay 500 to the CSA for 2 children the rest goes to her except for 100 as that is for phone mobile and life insurence and to keep me with a little change over the month.Let me make a point here i am not interested in her house if we split i would not want anything out of her. I have too 20,000 pound debt from a past relationship to save her from losing her house and that put me into a court to bankcrupt me.
I do not mind paying my way but not all of my way and then have to ask for a handout.
This is the Question i am asking . I paid for funiture and decorating. But as she is only part time by her chioce i knew i had to pay as a partnership but not all .
