how do i use my new tv as a pc monitor? it tells me on screen out of range when i connect the vga cable please help!

Before connecting the TV (when using the monitor) right-click a clear area of the screen and choose Properties
Click the Settings tab
Select a screen resolution that matches your TV, then click Advanced
Click the Monitor tab
Select 60Hz as the screen refresh rate
OK all
Connect TV.
