We've only ever been All Inclusive in the Caribbean, and that's simply because a lot of hotels have gone over to All Inclusive, although I must admit it is very handy to have everything on tap whenever you want it. However, we do like to get around - we always hire a car for a few days - and the all inclusive facility doesn't stop us friom doing that. We may have paid for All Inclusive, but it somewhat defeats the object of going on holiday and seeing other places if we confine ourselves to barracks simply because we want to get out money's worth - which I know a lot of people do. That, for us, isn't a consideration. We use the All Inclusive facilities when it suits us, but when it doesn't, we don't.
to me though naomi, the all inclusive hol is a cheap option as regards spending money once youre there. I guess if youre on a budget then you stay put.
It was just the one thing i wasnt keen on cause i like to eat out. Seems daft paying out for food and drink when you have it all in your hotel for free so to speak.
