evry time it p***** down with rain where i live i also lose my sky signal (cause they are crap!) but i do always get it back eventually. it sounds like you have knackered your receiver because you reset it so much. other than paying the callout charge and maybe having to stump up for a new sky+ box, i don't see how you can fix things. good luck tho!

thanks stonekicker -it's not so much that I can't record now but I can't pause and the sodding phone is ringing every 10 mins so I'm missing allsorts.

Most sad about the whole 2 series of Gavin & Stecey I had saved - the 2nd series isn't even out to buy on DVD till October.....

Not happy on yet another rainy Monday nite.
