supervisors covering places after redundacy

Six months ago where i work there were some redundancies made, 4 people who i work with were made redundant. none of my supervisors were included in the pool of people who were up for redundancy (we were told that their jobs did not include doing our jobs). Six months down the line we have a few people of sick and the supervisors have been standing in and doing their jobs. Is there a law against this.

The recourse that a redundant employee potentially has is through an Employment Tribunal, to claim unfair dismissal.
But since the time limit for making a claim is 3 months from the date of termination of employment, there is nothing that can be done.
And whilst it may sniff of being 'foul', employers business activity can go up as well as down.
