well, to be fair to the woman, she said she didn't realise she'd made the mistake, and it was the first time this has happened to her. she's had chihuahuas for 10 yrs and been breeding them the past 2 or 3 years i think.
she said she was still learning. but i can't help but think that i'm payin for her mistake, cuz i don't think she'd get �400 off someone for a chi with no papers. only i had seen him when he was 3 wks old, and hah been to see him regularly, so had a bond with him, so i didn't think much of it. it was only when i got home and mentioned it to a few people that got me wondering.
and i may add that she kept my dog's 2 female litter mates to breed them with a new pup she'd bought from another breeder, but obviously she can't register them properly either!
i dunno what to do. i think she did just make a genuine mistake, i wouldn't like to report her...
