bikini wax?
26 Answers
I am due a holiday in Spain soon, and expecting to go swimming everyday. Has anyone ever had a bikina wax and does it really really hurt? I can take some pain but I'm not a huge fan.
Also does anyone know any other way or products I can try?
Thanks

That video was great, made me laugh! I've never had it done in a salon either, I always shave down there with an electric shaver. Works waaaaaay better than manual razors, as it doesn't give me the dreaded red spots afterwards! I don't have a steady bf, anyway, so I only need to do it like once a week. It does feel a lot better without hair there, I have to say! you'll feel a lot cleaner, and it's quite liberating in the bedroom department too, as you don't have to worry about hair catching in the teeth...lol!

Sorry kirsten forgot to check back on here. I got a Braun Silk Epil 5185/5285 (don't remember which and it has both numbers on the instructions leaflet) and it comes with a starter head with less tweezers so you can get used to it, a full tweezer head, a kind of pulsating thing that goes over the head to help with the numbing, a mitt and freezer pack to numb the area first, and a shaver attachment, as well as a carry bag thing. The next model up comes with different shaped heads but I find the basic one does all jobs well, you just hold it slightly differently, so I didn't think it was worth the extra money. You can also pay more to get a cordless rechargeable model. It takes about 10 minutes to do both legs, about 2 minutes for armpits and maybe 5 minutes for bikini, or longer if you are more thorough. *ehem* Mine was about 50 from Boots but if I has been less impatient they were about 35 on ebay or amazon. Good luck, let us know how you find it :-)
