To be honest I couldn't remember how the rhyme went only got to four!

Bb xx
banjobabe,
1 for sorrow
2 for joy
3 for a girl
4 for a boy
5 for silver
6 for gold
7 for a secret never to be told
1 for sorrow, 2 for joy, 3 for a girl, 4 for a boy, 5 for silver, 6 for gold and 7 for a secret never to be told
8 for a letter from over the sea
9 for love that's as true as can be

10. Kill em.....pesky beasts who gorge on chicks......cannibals!
I could only get to 7 and then burst into "Maaaaggpiee"...........guess that's what 70's TV does to young impressionable minds.

Mick Robertson's hair, anyone ?
...you now have to step on a piece of dogsh!t that's lying across a crack in the pavement to reverse the polarity of the curse. Without shoes of course.

I saw 3 the other day and they seemed to be squabbling. Someone said it was probably 2 females fighting over one male.
Have to go to croxteth country park, old lord derby estate,my god couldnt believe it when i saw a whole colony of magpies 30+ so that shatters that illusion of a few magpies together!!!
Funny how we all just remember 1-7 to sing along to, but I did know it went up to 10 (had to look it up, though!)
Here's the rest of the lyrics:
8's a wish and,
9's a kiss,
10 is a bird you must not miss,
Here is the correct rhyme from a previous post on AB:
