Has any more mature abers got a urge?

As i am getting older i have these certain urges to do something quite out of character for me,like fifty things to do before i die, i fancy a tattoo,want to paraglide, maybe abseil, but there again me and heights not a good combination, but hey ho would try anyway, i know that some men have this urge to get a motorbide and ride off into the sunset in there dotage, what about us ladees any urges?

yeah, get a trolley at the supermarket, a bit of a run up then lift yourself up til your arms are straight and.... gliiiiiiiiiiide!

the tiled floors are great for it, and if there's a slope, all the better. had a great laugh when I caught a grown up man doing it at the same time!

I can understand doing something you've always wanted to. But doing something you've always disliked, like anything to do with heights, seems a bit pointless unless you're into facing down fear?

Lol. I sometimes get the urge to trolley surf as well. I've done it by standing on one, but I've always fancied laying across the basket part and zooming down en empty aisle!

I fear I am entering my mid life crisis. As you have alluded to, I have just bought a motorbike. Never ridden one before (except dodgey mopeds in Greece etc) but just fancied an old classic tourer. A mean machine.

I don't think age is a barrier to wanting to do something out of character now and again. Some people show great maturity at 25 - others never get there at all. Just because we reach a certain age, I don't think it should mean we have to act "in a certain way". Good for you, octavius, in getting that bike. Hope you have many a happy hour on it.
