fruiting time

im growing .."Japanese Persimmon" ..(sharon fruit) from seed and would like to know how many years before i can expect fruit??

Unless you are growing them under glass I don't think you have much chance of them fruiting in this country as they need a warmer climate than we have. Also not all fruits grown from a seed or pip actually fruit. Commercial ones are often grafted onto another rootstock, in which case, you might end up having a healthy looking plant which never fruits.
