To all my friends and fellow Telegraph GK crossword solvers ......

I opened the paper to start todays crossword and discovered that I won last weeks. I feel ridiculously excited about it and wanted to share my good fortune. As others have before me, I have often thought about giving up and not wasting the postage, just doing it for fun. It only goes to show that it's worth persevering. Thanks for all the help I have been given over the years.

Congrats, I won a couple of years ago and I am still telling people !
be careful because the cheque is placed in the front page of the Almanac with no letter attached, luckily as I picked up the book the cheque fell out.
