A damp cloth - if it's really dirty, use a tiny drop of washing-up liquid, then follow up with a clean damp cloth.

personally ... I use pure soap (the sort you use for woolens)
1 drop in a pint of water is enough.
Recently nicked one of the wife's microfibre cloths .... doesn't taste as good ... but best thing since sliced bread

My wife is a bit dirty, but I like it...
