make the most of it tigerlily it will soon be the sound of the local head muslim wailing and yelling you will hear if we carry on the way we are.......sorry to shatter your lovely summers evening......lol
The sound of Summer in my ears
Floating in the breeze
My bell is chiming like a gong
My mind is not at ease
The campanologists delight
In tugging on their ropes
They pull and pull and puff and pant
I wonder which one can count
For as I listen and dream of silence
My hand is pulling in time
A testament and one of faith
To their rhythmic chirpy chime
End of chorus, end of verse
Blindness could be my curse
I look forward to the weekend
To play once again on my bell
Yes, listen away and enjoy. It was a part of my wonderful childhood too. I have to be grateful however that truth is taking over, that grubby blood-stained muslims shrieking and waving severed body parts can remind me that when Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life" that it was just a huge leg-pull.
Lucky Britain. Vote Noo Labour, vote for freedom lost and submerged in futile correctness.
Nice Oct.
You a poet to?
I get busy with it when I'm bored.
I'm bored this evening.
Its just a sound I haven't heard in a long time.
And I'm going to ignore the Muslim thing and remember my past, gentle summer evenings on the door step of my house.
I LOVE the sound of church bells tigerlily. My old house (which I miss immensely) was quite near the church. I used to love sitting in the gardens on the riverbank of a summers evening with a glass of wine listening to the bells. Some daft to$$er is now suing to try and shut them up.
