Have you all noticed that not many bees are about this year? I know there is a disease killing some of them, apart from a lack of honey from the honey bees, what would happen to the world if suddenly all bees died? I find this thought very scary, as they do so much for the enviroment, would the world grind to a halt?
Bees make people so happy by the looks of this post.
I think we should start the world cult of the bees.
keep them safe from harm and talk of the wonders of bees.
Bee peace to all.:-)
Madabout cats, so interested to hear you work with special needs children. My daughter and son have for years worked with special needs kiddies every summer - sort of like a summer camp and my goodness - the joy - the kiddies are wonderful, they have such a joyful time and the carers - well - it goes without saying how much they enjoy the company of the children and the love and appreciation and ..... well you know what i am trying to say.xxxx
i know exactly what your saying, each and every one of them have so much to give, i always get really sad the last week of term as the classes are moving up etc and i know that i'll only see them in passing. the children are better behaved than some of the people on here.......xxxx
Madboutcats - I so agree - the children are wonderful so loving and yes, my kids (big kids) have got so much from their experiences of looking after them and enjoying their company etc etc.
Anyway, how are you and puddycats? Any stories to tell? How is big ginge?? We need to start a new thread else poor Ray will be bombarded with our messages!!! (Tho I am sure he will not mind!)xxxxx
Ray all the bees are at my house living in a air vent its like Heathrow Airport when i try and hang out the washing, i know i should report it, but i am fascinated watching them go in out, watched 5 go in the space of a couple of minutes and 2 came out, have to duck and dive to miss them!!!
