I just spent half an hour on the phone listening to some bloody BT robotvoice saying 'we are very busy at the minute but BT values your call ...we are very busy but will answer as soon as possible ' then the line went dead

So I called a different number 'to speak to an operator about your bill' & left my number for a call back 'within the hour' - an hour & a half later the call comes . Explained everything to a lovely Scottish lady who said that she thought I was right but would have to pass me over to the billing department .............

Ring ring .. 'we are very busy at the minute but BT values your call ...we are very busy but will answer as soon as possible '

I can only sympathise. I've done it myself but got through to Delhi. she didn't understand me. I didn't understand her. an hour later, cut off again.

BT need a serious slap!

I moved house recently and had to let all sorts of people know my change of address. Banks, BT, electricity, council tax, internet - etc etc.

Be grateful it was only one company you were calling, it took me days and my hair changed colour by the time I had finished, not that there was much left after I'd been tearing it out!

BT know they have the monopoly (remember Mercury in the far and distant past !!) .
Its crud -I worked the best part of 25yrs with BT half of my career there as an in-line manager -and I can assure you it was more frustrating latterly working there -aaaaaaarrgggggh -that was me empathising with you !!

However so long as my share divi keeps dropping through the post i'll be happy !!


Its bleeding annoying tho seiously -I get so frustrated with any of those sodding companies -just when you are getting somewhere you get the NU tone --I feel another aaaaaaarrrrrrggggggggghh coming on !!

I left BT a few years ago. The other day, one of their call -centre people rang me to see if I wanted to return to BT. THEN PUT ME ON HOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
