TV is pretty boring this evening. I'm waiting for Gordon Ramsey to cook for me at 9.

The Spice Hut sounds familiar Whiffs.

Anyone who wants to come on and be nice is more than welcome :)
Cheers China. I am an ex smoker turned bad again. I didnt really find it hard the first time but boredom sent me running back (2 and a half years later- doh!) just need to get back in to the right frame of mind again.
i prefer chinese
hello and good evening Jenna and all.

Whiffey, don't forget to order my own
extra spicy.
I gave up smoking nearly a year ago now and I've turned into one of those weird ex-smokers who can't stant the smell of smoke anymore! Lol
Yeah i'm ok thanks for asking...

alive and kicking on CB ..been a
bit loony on here today ...

If everyone else is ordering can I have some marinaded lamb chops for starter, chicken biryani (no sauce) ooh and some poppadums with that lovely red onion stuff.

I found it so much easier the first time I quit and have found every attempt since really hard esp as most people at work smoke.
I was the same tigger, drove my mates insane especially when we all went on holiday together, I ended up chocking in the corner the whole week. I still can't stand it when others smoke - i never could. Only way i can stop myself from chocking is to light up myself - strange and sad but unfortunately true.

I was such an anti-smoker when I quit, couldn't stand the smell but didn't help myself as I tried to make myself feel ill at the thought of smoking.

Made it hard being near smokers at the bus stop or sitting next to smokers on the bus.
I gave up smoking and now hate the smell
of it ..mrtonly has clots and a damaged
heart due to his 60 a day habit ...do try
and quit ..but you have to want to do it ..
no one can make you....
Jenna - the big incentive for me to quit the dreaded weed was actually quite simple ..... I hated not being in control ! I would be in a meeting and all I could think of was when it was going to finish, so that I could escape and have some nicotine... when I realised that IT was in charge I rebelled and decided that I was the one who was going to decide what I did and when..... I used the patches to gradually wean myself off the nicotine - in a controlled manner - see how much store I set by *control* lol.....

I am surprised that a lot of people at your work still smoke - we only have one person now - out of 30 - and he is on a cigar at lunchtime (outside obviously).

Tiggs - I too can't abide the smell anymore but since the smoking ban in pubs, public places etc, it's been a lot easier.
