SIA Licence - common assault
If somebody holding an SIA licence and a personal licence for sale of alcohol was convicted of common assault, would they lose these automatically?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The licensing authority responsible for issuing personal licences for the sale of alcohol have discretionary powers. The licence would not automatically be revoked but it might possibly be. (I've known of someone who's still been on licence after release from prison, for trafficking Class A drugs, obtaining a personal licence to sell alcohol. The conditions are far less strict than they are for an SIA licence).
