Hello .. few questions in one here sorry for being greedy.

I am about to buy a mondeo and was wondering whats the difference between a ghia and a ghia x ... also what does verona mean.  If it says full electric pack what exactly does this entail?

Also if anyone has any really bad points about these cars this would be appreciated before I buy it. I am looking at a v reg with 75,000 is this alot for that type of car?

Thanks for any help anyone can give me :)

We used to have a verona. It is basically the LX with a few extras. I think the extras were alloy wheels, electric mirrors, electric heated front windscreen (a must if you can get a car with one) and I think it  had air conditioning(which I don't think this was standard at the time). We have got the 'new' shape mondeo(with the round rear lights) now and have had no problems with either car. The only thing to look out for on the 'old' shape (which I think a V would be) is the underside of the rear bumper. The underside fits into a little clip to hold the centre of the bumper in line (right on the bottom edge). Sometimes the bumper fitting jumps out of this clip and so the bumper can flop around in the airstream. Thats why you see loads of mondeos with broken rear bumpers. I solved this by simply screwing the clip and fitting together with a small self tapper.
Oh I forgot. The Verona only came in 2 colours. Green and Curiasse (a sort of bluey mauve).
