Better than writing up loads of needless forms and standing outside discos with their hands tucked aggressively in to their body armour.

Hare-coursing is down-right cruel and needless in a civilised society.

hares are food Abdul...........and a nuisance on arable land, digging holes for livestock's legs to be broken, spoiling golf courses and ruining crops.

Everything in moderation and infestations, as hares today, need control.

terambulan, I am aware hares are food, in fact I have shot many hundreds over the years.

And it is by that argument which makes me say it is cruel.

We are top of the food chain solely due to our superior intelligence. I therefore have no issue with eating animals.

However, with our intelligence we have a morality and sense of reason which should make us treat animals with respect and humanity.

Ergo, killing hares for pleasure in the run of hare-coursing and for needless games like golf which is full of ridiculously dressed males in pink and yellow paying thousands of pounds to walk around a boringly mowed garden, is barbaric.

Eat meat, but don't torture animals for sheer pleasure.

Death to fox hunters
Death to badger baiters
Death to dog-fight people
Death to matadors

and

Death to hare-coursers.

And all their wives.
