Where did the name originate from and what is it.

Not 100% sure on exact details but imagine it originated at Eton School.  Is dessert with whipped cream, bits of meringue and strawberries (I think) all mixed together in a mess! Scrummy!!!

I always assumed it originated from Eton boys school but recently met a chap educated there and he'd never heard of it!  Apparently they got sponge puddings and lumpy custard just like the rest of us!
