Could you live together with ure parents and ure grandparents
18 Answers
Just watching a article about living with your parents, and grandparents and your children so 4 generations!!!,i suppose finances wise it could be a good thing, they all seem to have separate areas but leave alot of the doors open and a central meeting point, you will save money on babysitting either the children and the great granny, saves thinking about a care home, but for me no, love me mum but couldnt live with her lol!!!!

This roof though would have to contain several self contained living quarters & a communal area where everyone could get together! Love them very much, actually going away for a week with them this weekend! xxx
spent a week on holiday with my Mum and Dad a few years ago in a Gite. Nearly killed each other. Just down to stupid little things, like what time is breakfast etc, my kids get their own cereal , toast etc, but my Mum expected us all to sit down to a great family "Do" together each morning. Just did not work!
Hi there puddicat.
My family is a tight-knit one. I am an only child, however, I live with my mum and dad. My Nan, who was ill, and could no longer live on her own (she lived about 40 miles away originally) She has lived here for about 5 years now. After this, my own partner moved in (he lived in london beforehand) and he has lived here for about 10 months. And a few months ago, during a messy divorce, she also moved in. My family are very lucky, we have a farmhouse, with a lot of buildings. Which have all been restored and turned into small annexes for our family. So we still have our privacy, but alll live on the same sight.
I love having us all here. We are al very supportive of each other, and we all work in my parent's business.
