I have white sacks on my rhodendrum stems. What are they and what should I do?

when you say sacks do you mean like spittle ? is there a vbug in the middle? if so wipe or wash off.
If they look like small amounts of foam in between the leaf nodes then they are leaf hoppers. Either squash them in your fingers or spray with a mixture of washing up liquid and water as you would to rid plants of greenfly etc.
It would be nice to get a reply JAdamiak.
