The cluch pedal goes flat to the floor and I can not select a gear

possibly either clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder you will have to look & see if there is a fluid leak from around pedal area or underneath car around gearbox bell-housing area,failing that it may need booking into a garrage for investigation as the clutch itself may have collapsed.if it's the slave cylinder the gearbox will need removing anyway so it's advisable to replace the complete clutch assembly.
