I started my period on sunday and was prescribed the pill on monday. (This is my first time taking it). I took my first pill on that monday.

When will i be safe to have sex? (Obviously other protection will also be used!)

I've read that ideally you should take the pill on the first day of your period

It is usually after 7 days of taking it but check the leaflet that you got with your pill, it will tell you
