Skin Tag

Okay, I have this skin tag under my eye. I would like to get rid of it. Does anyone have any suggestions that aren't too painful, that I can do myself, and that won't leave scarring? Thank you!

I can remember people tieing the tag with a cotton thread twisting it tight and leaving it still the blood supply was dead,dont fancy that wouldnt it be easier to contact ure practise nurse to see if she could do it,or maybe reccommend a service to you!!!

i would not recommend removing on from under your eye by yourself - its a delicate area, may scar and will probably bleed like a stuck pig. if you go to your gp, they will advise you on the best way to remove it and may even be able to do it in the surgery. leave it to the professionals!

It's a quick and easy job for a doctor to remove a skin tag. I agree with stonekicker, the eye area is extremely delicate so leave it to a GP.

I have a skin tag under my eye too, and last week my GP told me it is best left alone, as trying to remove it might well pull the skin and cause problems with the eyelid - maybe even making it impossible to close the eye.
