early 90's kids tv programme - whats it called???

I used to watch a childrens programme every sunday morning. The titles at the beginning was a view of the earth rotating with a misty space in the background. The view would then pan out (I think!). The programme itself involved lots of animals of bold colours ie a pink snake etc. They could all talk. It was on around the same time as Appledown Farm and Button Moon. Any ideas, I know its not much to go on!

Yer I agree wiy Harveypool but it was on early 90's. Button Moon was an 80's thing.

I was thinking of this the other day and I couln't recall much but Ovid Video sounds very familiar, I think there was volcano on the island they lived on or something

The name Ovid Viedo rings a bell but I can't remember what it looked like, could it have been the Bluffers? Or Dr Snuggles? they were on around the same time too I think, or late 80's at least.

No because I remember a prgram where it zooms in on the world. Now you've got me thinking.

Maybe it was the bluffers actually (god now I'm confused!) I looked at a website for the Bluffers and the characters look familiar but I am not entirely sure it was the one I am thinking of.

Is it the one where two naughty dragons were up in space and looked through telescope down onto world at kids on a farm, dont know what it was called either. Brain freeze!!!
