If this is a serious question. Emulsion paint is soluble in water. Rinse in cold water until the paint is completely diluted and the water runs clear, then you can wash as normal. Do not leave until the weekend as the paint will have dried on and will not come out of the material easily.
cheers Ruby, but it must have been on about a week now. only just realised because its on the bottom of one of the legs. There isnt much, but enough to notice it.
cheers anyway.
Hmmm, me thinks something similar to this has happened to you legend. Your very passionale about the subject.
Maybe it happened to you and you threw them cos everyone was telling you that nothing could be done.
But now your seeing that maybe there is a solution, your frustrated. If only they had answerbank when it had happened to you...
You should listen to leg - he's right. Painters wash their overalls (or wifey does) to get dirt out, not any kind of paint cos - as said a few times here - it's dry and won't budge.
The ideal answer is the marker pen. A trick I've used a few times when I've managed to be a bit careless with bleach when wearing a dark top.
Hi, MrBen. I've just got back from Tesco's and they have got stain remover on offer 50% bigger tub. It's a pink and white tub, and I had a look at what stains it removes. It doesn't mention emulsion, but it does have other awkward to shift stains, oil, grease blood etc. so why don't you try it out?
Let me know how you get on.....and if it makes a mess of your trackies, I'll buy you a new pair....but I think it will work :-)
