When your young, lots of things look big to you, but nowadays seagulls look larger than ever, some even as big as average dogs, why is that? and you used to just see them inland when it was about to rain but now there here all day every day. They start squealling from 2.30 am till nine or ten at night.

The gull population used to be governed by the amount of seafood there was available but we as a Society are so effluent that we throw lots of food away. Throw a red/white striped box in the ground anywhere and the gulls appear from nowhere.

I'm glad someone else thinks seagulls are bigger than they used to be. I spent many chilhood holidays on the British coast but I don't recall seeing seagulls that were any bigger than a large crow. I thought things were supposed to get smaller as you got older. Seagulls also seem to have really bad attitudes these days. Some of them seem almost sarcastic when you try and defend your bag of chips. At this rate we'll end up as human slaves in a seagull nation!
