googlemail on Nokia 6500

I've recently started using a Nokia 6500 but I can't access my googlemail. I can get to the sign in page and enter all my details, but it just takes me back to a blank sign in page. There is a googlemail application that I had on my old Sony Ericcson phone, but I can't find it to download on my Nokia.

I've been to the Googlemail help page, but I can't find any help. I also can't find a way to contact them and ask. Can anyone help?
