I'm more than happy to debate with anyone on anything but this is surely not a male only problem anyone can see that, and it's nothing to do with men taking sexual pleasure at all costs, it's about people not being able to feed their families because of the huge economic downturn. People in Africa do have a right to families you know, and they are perfectly excused from not being able to see into the future.

Obnox.......Sky news show babies being deserted and blame mothers for not able to feed. Any mother knows babes can be breast fed way past the ages of these babes. So who is deserting the babies?
As for you Leg.........everything comes down to race.........or ur own agendas. Show your pathetic spoilt tantrums!

I'm quite confused by that answer actually terambulan... if they show mothers wh can breast feed deserting their babies doesn't that make it the... mothers who are deserting them???
Apart from which that's an absurdly simplistic way of looking at things. Women who are malnourished themselves cannnot produce milk and some may have been unable to breast feed in the first place... plus of course it might be viewed that both parents are doing at the moment what they consider to be in the child's best interests. No-one is having a pop at women about this particularly so I fail to see why you are scapegoating men. It's irrational. Men are no worse than women are no worse than men.... simple as.

im sorry but in a civilised country you surely cant simply blame men, yes ok maybe the man should pull out, but if the woman knew she wouldnt be able to care for it properly past the age of 1 maybe she shouldnt of opened her legs in the first place?
and quite rightly mentioned the problem isnt that these people are neglectful necissarily, its that they have children, cant feed them because of whatever economic state they are in, us better off nations are ignoring them and the parents are doing what they feel is the best thing for their child.
what your missing is that giving up a child is one of the hardest things to do but if these parents feel it is necessary for them to survive to adulthood then maybe thats why these children are being abandoned
