I smooth out the sheets and fluff up the pillows but I always fold back the duvet and top sheet to allow the bed to air - all that moisture that comes off our bodies during the night is just wonderful for dust mites....
It's a bit hit and miss - depends if my little lad has crept in and is still snoring away.. once I'm downstairs I rarely go back up so if he's there, then no...
I like to leave my bed to breathe as well and always have some Febreze handy as a freshen up and always have to have the windows open, fresh air freak haha :)
Have just washed and tumble dried my bedding so will have a lovely fresh clean bed tonight :)
Easier now as I'd usually be up and at work before Mr J got out of bed but all mine now :)
I make it every morning before I go to work in Winter, Autumn, Spring, just looks that much tidier and nicer to get into after a long day, but in the summer, same as most, I fold the duvet back to give it an airing!
