Help Needed.

When I go to turn off the PC I get the following Message

The Following Users Are Connected To Your Computer

Administrator (\ALLAN-N2KITCHZQ)

Continuing Will Disconnect Them. Do You Wish To Continue?

Can anyone tell me what this is and how to remove/stop it happening?

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

hi. Allan has set himself up as asministrator and disconnecting him wont cause any problem.

Not sure how to remove him as having an administrator is not neccesary. Try START.CONTROL PANEL then USERS.

sounds like he is accessing a share on your computer

go control panel.. Administrative tools... Computer management... shared folders and see what he is up to

The problem is this. I don't know anyone called Allan, and I am the only one who uses the PC. I spoke to a techie friend who advised me to install a firewall as it looked like it was a hacker.

I did this and it seems to have solved the problem. Many thanks for the advice.
