I think my dishwasher is pooped. It was second hand and free fom my aunt & uncle and its about 20 years old. I want to get a new slimline one but it will probably leave a big gap once installed. What can I do about this gap?

Maybe. I've just thought - vegetable rack!

Wow, how interesting am I this Sunday afternoon! Lol
I'm a little confused, you have space for a full size dishwasher but you want a slimline one though you obviously don't need or want the space for anything, so........ Why do you want a slimline one?

or am I just being a thick bloke ;)

It takes ages to fill and I don't want to put it on when its half full.

Oh I don't know. Maybe I'm just being picky!
just enough space for a wine rack.. excellent!

That would be an excellent idea if I liked wine Sara. I'm more of a lager gal if anything! Lol
hmmm, now would a lager rack in the kitchen be considered a little low brow and trashy :)

oh hang on I already have one, it's called the fridge.
Get someone to put a strip of wood to
fill up the gap ...
