Does anyone have any suggestion for a cheap alternative to 6ft wooden fencing panels. We have a huge boundary area that we need to fence off and we have received some horrendous quotations. Sadly we probably need at least a 6ft fence as we have a dog who would love to explore neighbours gardens! Any suggestions gratefully received.

If its just to keep the dog in, what about the trailing wire on the ground around the perimeter, with the collar the dog wears that gives it a little shock when it crosses the line?

If you plan to stay in your property go for
a good fence ..one with posts and is overlap
we had a panel type ..cheap but didn't last
long ..and paint it every year ..otherwise
a chainlink fence and plant a hedge ..
fast growing leylandi ..a pain to look after ..
and causes probs with the neighbours
if you don't lop it ...your decision ..good luck ..
I looked into this last summer and found 6 foot high sheets of bamboo that you could attach to posts. I found it on walmart.com. I don't think you have that store, but could google it to see it and maybe find it at a home or garden center. I was going to attach it to an already existing ugly fence, but I bet you could have posts put in cheaply and attach the sheets yourself.
