Maybe great news for all the drivers who crop up from time to time on here asking advice after putting petrol in a diesel.

On tomorrow`s TV show "Dragons Den" someone is going to demonstrate his device to prevent this!

However, I already have a device which is with me all the time - it`s called a brain.

and I though the nozzle's were different sizes............if not, they should be.............better I watch DD and put up my/this idea?

Keep off...Abers!

Petrol pump nozzles are smaller than diesel pump nozzles therefore it is easier to prevent pumping diesel into a petrol tank than petrol into diesel tank.

Ford has already developed it's Easy Fuel system for use on diesel models...

yep FORD has, but i know someone who still managed to do it !!! , agency driver delivering a brand new Mondeo couldnt get the fuel nozzle into the tank, in the tool kit that comes with the vehicle there is a funnel for use with a fuel can. He used this funnel and managed to get a full tank of petrol into it despite the nozzle not fitting and the DIESEL label !!
cost about 350.. to recover and drain...
we only employ the best.........
