Is it possible to sui a spouse if they have commited addultry and now wants to divorce me for this other person

Thanks. I need to know if I can sue for money from my spouse for breaking a contract of marriage with me and for personal hurt by Having an affair. The divorce settlement is a completely seperate thing. That wont take into account why the marriage broke up as far as I know.

I dont know if you can but i think you should. Same feeling my daughter has for her ex, he left her for someone else, pregnant on xmas eve on month before baby was born. Then has the cheek to take her to court to see the baby he never wanted. Read the ex husband trouble question at the top. She should sue after what he has put her through. I hope you can, good luck.

I thought to have a divorce you had to give a reason, which his adultry would be one! Not sure if you can sue separatly as I was under the impression that the divorce settlement will consider all of this!

Marriage is for life!
It is a binding contract between two people and the the person who holds that contract is "GOD" HE HOLDS RICH BLESSINGS on such contract between two people and when such contract gets broken, his blessings are removed from the offender who breaks the bond of marriage.

I dont want the divorce. They do and I wont have any choice in the matter. Thats when I want to sue them so they can also feel some pain. I agree marriage is for life

True and honest love means letting go if they want to. If you love them just let them go. If you want revenge - did you really love them in the first place?
