i have made a c/d in movie maker it will play on the computer but not on the television any one know why

Have you finalised it? Does your DVD player accept the format of the disc?

You said CD not DVD, try recording it to a DVD. If I remember correctly AVI is the reliable format for playback on TV but I'm a bit out of date. Gosh I am OOD just checked and it's now HIGHMAT???
