i use toothepaste now and again but you will have to be careful as it can really really dry out the skin making it peel and looks a right mess and the spots may not go i wash my face in the morning with witch foaming face wash and then during the day splash my fave with water to remove any extra oils or grease to stop them clogging up my pores and when i go in the shower i use clearasil scrub.
Good luck
Good luck

Johnsons Clean and Clear stuff is excellent, so is Witch and tea tree products. Toothpaste is ok if its one of those big mamma spots that you can feel coming through and you know its gonna be huge, just put it on overnight and only on that small area. I'm not sure if you're a boy or girl sorry! if you're a boy dont be embarrassed to buy skincare products or get your mum to buy them! If you're a girl - go easy on the make-up. Try not to cover up your spots by slapping loads of foundation etc on them. Witch do a great wee medicated concealer stick, it covers up really well and cos its medicated, its helping the spot at the same time. Its in a nice wee silver stick as well so it doesnt scream "hello! i've got spots" when you take it out your handbag! Only about 4. Good luck.
Get yourself to Boots they do a fab tea tree oil and witch hazel foaming face wash 2.99 and cleansing wipes 2.99 on offer 2 for 5.00 face wash morning and night and cleansing wipes as and when, i got this for my son on recomendation and there has been a marked difference in his skin, not all gone but getting there.
I'm 25 and still get hormonal spots! It's nothing to worry about people said, you will grow out of it they said....yeah right! lol
I find that using Bodyshop teatree oil neat on a cotton bud applied to the worse ones eases them and dries them out a lot quicker than leaving them to form whiteheads on their own. Also if you can, try to leave them alone a not to pick them. This spreads the bacteria from one spot to another around your face and therefore only makes the problem worse.
